The 12 Houses

The twelve houses, or bhavas, are the twelve sections of a Vedic birth chart, each covering a different area of life. The First House is you, and the houses go on to cover wealth, family, home, children, health, marriage, and everything else, all the way to the Twelfth House of loss and liberation. The sign and planets in each house shape how that part of your life unfolds.
