How to prepare for your first personal chart reading 3 min read

A good place to begin

Start where you're curious.

02 / Your reading

Follow the answer back to the chart.

A good reading should help you follow the reasoning. Our samples use one fictional birth record with calculated charts, so you can see the connection between the question and the answer.

03 / Your timing

Make sense of the timing.

A transit describes the sky at a particular time. A dasha is a planetary period calculated from your birth Moon. A personal reading considers both, alongside your birth chart and the question you bring.

The calendar gives general dates. Your own chart supplies the personal context. You can download the dates from either calendar page.

Stellar yearly membership

A little more clarity

Questions, answered.

Do I need an exact birth time?

A recorded birth time is important for the rising sign, houses and divisional charts. If you do not know it, say so. Some planetary information can still be discussed, but a made-up time should not be presented as an accurate personal chart.

Can I use Anantrix outside India?

Yes. Use the actual birthplace and local birth time, wherever you were born. Historical time zones and daylight saving can affect the matching UTC instant. Transit calendar files use UTC, which your calendar app can display in its own time zone.

Should I choose membership or a one-time report?

Yearly membership suits ongoing questions: interactive readings, longer personal timelines, private astrologer chat and the included annual bundle. A one-time report suits one prepared reading without membership renewal. Check the current scope and terms on the pricing page before choosing.
