Local daily Panchang

Calculate today’s Panchang for your place.

Choose a city, or explicitly share your location. We will calculate Tithi, Paksha, Vara, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana for that place’s local date.

Choose your place

Start with your city

Timing changes with local sunrise, sunset and timezone. No city is preselected, so the first result is always for a place you choose.

What does today’s Panchang tell you?

A Panchang is the traditional Hindu calendar for a particular place and day. Tithi tells you the lunar date, Vara the weekday, Nakshatra the Moon’s lunar mansion, Yoga the Sun–Moon combination and Karana half of a Tithi. Paksha tells you whether the Moon is waxing (Shukla) or waning (Krishna).

Why your location matters

The civil date, timezone, sunrise and sunset differ around the world. This page sends your chosen place to the server, which calculates the Panchang with Lahiri sidereal positions and returns display-ready results. No city is assumed for you.

Common questions

Is Panchang the same everywhere?

No. The active factors and their local clock times can differ by date, timezone and location, so select the city where you will use the timing.

How do I read today’s Panchang?

Start with the displayed Tithi, Vara and Nakshatra, then check Yoga and Karana. For an important beginning, also review Choghadiya, Hora and the listed caution periods.

Does Panchang guarantee a result?

No. It is a traditional timing reference. Practical judgment, safety, medical needs and legal deadlines always come first.
