Best Times Today
Choose a city to see its best and caution times, based on local sunrise and sunset. Explore Muhurat, Hora, Choghadiya, Rahu Kaal and Panchang, or plan another date.
Best Times Calendar
Choose a date up to 12 months ahead for any city worldwide. Browse one month at a time; the Best Times Calendar is free to use and needs no login. Each result uses the selected place’s local sunrise, sunset and timezone, so it is not a generic time for every city.
Method
A local, traditional timing reference.
The server calculates Lahiri sidereal Panchang factors, Choghadiya, Hora and caution periods from the selected place’s local day. The browser only sends the chosen place to the reviewed public endpoint and renders its prepared result.
Important limits
This is general cultural guidance, not a promise of outcomes or a substitute for practical judgment. Emergencies, medical care, transport safety and legal deadlines always override traditional timing.
A little more clarity
Questions, answered.
How is today’s Muhurat calculated?
Anantrix uses the selected place, IANA timezone, local sunrise and sunset, Lahiri sidereal Panchang factors, Hora, Choghadiya and the standard daily caution periods. It presents traditional guidance rather than a guarantee.
Why do I need to choose a city?
Sunrise, sunset and the civil date change by place and timezone. A city selection makes the result local without creating a public city-specific page or putting coordinates in the URL.
Can I plan a future date?
Yes. The free Best Times Calendar lets you browse one month at a time and choose a date up to 12 months ahead for any city worldwide. You do not need an account or login; choose the place first because its sunrise, sunset and timezone shape that date’s timing.
What do Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda and Gulika mean?
These are traditional daily caution periods. They suggest avoiding the beginning of a new important undertaking, not stopping ordinary work already in progress. There is no separate standard daily Ketu Kaal calculation.
What is Hora and how do I read it?
Hora is a shorter day or night period ruled by one of seven classical planets. Match the planet’s traditional themes with your activity, then also check Choghadiya and the daily caution periods before an important beginning.
Should I use my birthplace or the place where the activity happens?
For this public daily timing page, choose where the activity will take place. Its sunrise, sunset and local timezone determine the displayed windows. This is a location-based daily reference; a personal electional reading may also consider birth-chart information.
What if a suggested window does not fit an appointment I need?
Keep essential care, travel requirements and other people's availability first. These windows are optional traditional planning references. If you have flexibility, compare the shown overlaps and choose a workable time; a calendar label should not make you miss necessary help.
