Sun in Aquarius: the Vedic interpretation
Aquarius is ruled by Saturn in classical Vedic astrology. Sun interpretations often explore how individual purpose fits within a group, a shared system or a wider obligation. Saturn's actual placement helps distinguish one person's chart from another's.
Some Western astrology uses Uranus as Aquarius's ruler. The classical Vedic convention used here assigns Saturn; mixing the two without saying so can cause confusion.

Surya Rashi (the Sun's zodiac sign) is separate from Janma Rashi (usually the Moon's sign at birth). This page concerns the Sun. Our Aquarius daily horoscope instead uses the sidereal Moon sign.
